The ALAY KAPWA continuously supports the advocacy of the national and local government in restoring, rehabilitating and re-greening the environment through planting fruit bearing and forest trees in pursuant to Proclamation No. 643: Arbor Day which promotes and aims a healthier ecosystem for the people. Officers, Management and Staff of the NVAKMPCO conducted the tree-planting activity in the early hours of November 6, 2021 at the Cooperative’s property in Brgy. Concepcion, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. The ALAY KAPWA family planted 2,500 cacao seedlings at the site which were granted by the Department of Agriculture in coordination with the Municipal Agriculture Office of Solano and 120 mangosteen seedlings that were bought from a trusted supplier. The property is being developed as an agro-forest land by the Cooperative considering the greening advocacy that will benefit not only the ALAY KAPWA but also the people and community of the barangay.
