AWARDS NIGHT FOR MEMBERS, OFFICERS AND
EMPLOYEES HELD - ALAYKAPWA AWARDED BEST AND PROMISING MEMBER-TEACHERS
The Most Outstanding Teacher - Member and two Promising Teachers were awarded by the Alay Kapwa during its Awards Night on December 16, 2022. The Cooperative gave recognition to the exemplary accomplishments of Members who are in the teaching profession. The Member- Teachers awarded for CY 2022 were fhe first to receive this newly launched award for Members. This is in addition to the awards given to Members in Good Standing.
Huwarang Pamilya and Best Savers. Also, the first Most Outstanding Youth Member was awarded during this event.
The Board of Directors, headed by Chairperson Arnei G. Domincel and Management led by GM Corazon G. Alesna hosted and facilitated the event.
The Search for the member - teachers was meant to recognize their hard work, dedication and outstanding contribution to the community. Guidelines, qualifications and criteria were drafted and recommended for approval to the Board of Directors by Dir. Flordeliza C. Gecobe and the Aflatoun/ AKYS Team.
There were 11 member - teachers who submitted their portfolios who were Members in Good Standing of the Alay Kapwa for more than 3 years. The requirements were scrutinized by Dir. Flordeliza C. Gecobe, Treas. Estrellita V. Fanuncio, BOD Secretary Mary Dilanie B. Llarenas, GM Corazon G. Alesna with the assistance of the Aflatoun Coordinators, Ms. Marivic P. Galasinao and Mrs. Luisa J. Soriano.
The contenders were shortlisted to 5 and have undergone a panel interview headed by Vice - Chairperson Francisco A. Aquino, Jr., GM Corazon G. Alesna and Exec. Asst. Renee FI. Bueno.
The awards night was joined by Mdm. Juditte L. Asuncion, Chief of the Provincial Cooperative
Enterprise and Development Office as the Guest Speaker.
She expressed her congratulations to the awardees and acknowledged the hard work of all the members, officers and employees of the Alay Kapwa which brought the Cooperative to its present success. She also said that it is to be noted that these are just half of the success, but continued cooperation, unity and faith must always go hand in hand to every work being done and given to the Cooperative and the community.


The program was opened by GM Corazon Alesna wherein she welcomed all the awardees and guests.
The first part of the program was the awarding of officers and employees who extended 10, 15, 25, and 30 years of service to the Alay Kapwa.
The families of the departed officers and employees were also invited and were awarded the
posthumous awards.
Afterwards, former GM Minerva ST. de Guzman was also given her Retirement Award in appreciation of her loyal service and outstanding contribution to the Cooperative for 44 years. Also, former Branch Manager Arnold D. Abalos was also given his Award of Recognition for his 24 years of service with the Alay Kapwa.
Dir. Arnel G. Domincel delivered the Inspirational Message wherein he expressed his wholehearted gratitude for everyone present who participated in the Awards Night and the first ever awarding of Member - Teachers of the Cooperative. He extended his congratulations to everyone and commitment to serve the general membership with the utmost sincerity and integrity together with the Officers and Employees of the Cooperative.
The awarding of Members, Officers and Employees have been put on hold since the onset of the pandemic and this Awards Night was approved and scheduled by the Board of Directors to recognize the diligence the awardees have contributed despite the pandemic.
For this event, the Member-Teachers and Youth were given emphasis for recognition. Succeeding awards for members, officers, and employees are again being assessed by the Board of Directors and Management and shall be advised accordingly for awarding.
