Cooperatives in the province of Nueva Vizcaya ended the nationwide month-long celebration of the Cooperative Month 2023 with a motorcade and program at the Provincial Capitol compound in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya on October 28, 2023.
The Provincial Cooperative Month 2023 Celebration was spearheaded by the PROCEDE and PCDC in coordination with the different MCDCs composed of the various cooperatives of Nueva Vizcaya.
Atty. Jovilyn M. Gaffud-Marquez, Regional Director of the CDA; Hon. Roland M. Carub, Chairperson of the Cooperative Committee of the Provincial Board; Mdm. Ruth Raña Padilla, PLGU Consultant; Dir Arnel G. Domincel, Chairperson of the NV CSF; and the Representative from the Office of the DA - NVES Manager Arsenio Apostol joined the celebration and extended their support and inspiring statements to help the cooperatives of Nueva Vizcaya plan their next courses of actions for CY 2023 - 2024.
The event started with a search for Best Designed Booth and Most Innovative Processed Food through a display that opened on October 23, 2023. The MCDC Solano, chaired by Dir. Arnel G. Domincel, took part in the booth search where the NV ALAY KAPWA MPCO lead the team with Malabing Valley MPC and Cooperative Bank of NV.
During the awarding part of the program, the NV CSF Cooperative was presented to everyone where its Manager Estrellita V. Fanuncio; Vice-Chairperson Nieto P. Bacena and Chairperson Arnel G. Domincel joined the dignitaries on-stage as the CDA Gawad Parangal 2023 Awardee (National Level).
The NV ALAY KAPWA Board of Directors, Committees, and some of the Management and Staff joined the celebration together with other cooperatives in the province of Nueva Vizcaya.
